Facilitate gender mainstreaming in all functions of the university;
Sensitize staff and students on Gender issues and on the Gender Policy and Sexual and Gender -based Violence Policy of Kenyatta University;
Outreach and advocacy programmes on HeforShe and Gender Based Violence and Sexual Harassment through public lectures, seminars and workshops;
Collect sex-disaggregated data in order to advise University Management on attainment of two-thirds constitutional requirement for gender representation and performance contract reporting;
Write proposals to seek funds to help in the implementation of the Center’s mandate;
Hold Gender Training Workshops on Gender Mainstreaming in the Curriculum;
Conduct a situational gender analysis on teaching and learning environment; and
Conduct assessments on Gender Based Violence and Sexual Harassment in all Kenyatta University campuses.
